What are your seasonal and weather policies?
We provide year-round service, including cleanups in rain and snow.
In severe weather conditions (e.g., active thunderstorms, blizzards, hail, torrential downpours), we may need to reschedule or skip your service. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs and won't charge you if you've picked up after your dog(s) in the meantime.
If your yard is overgrown or covered in leaves, we may not guarantee 100% clean-up. Once the property is cleaned up, we ensure thorough removal.
What if we go away on vacation?
If your dog(s) won't be at home during your scheduled service, please inform us so we can adjust accordingly.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No contracts are required; start and stop your service at any time by contacting us. No advance notice is needed to cancel, but if it's been 2+ weeks since the last cleaning, an initial $50 cleaning fee may apply before resuming regular scooping service.
Can I keep my dog in the yard during scooping?
We adore dogs! If your dog(s) are friendly and we've been formally introduced, we're happy to spend time with them during service.
For safety, keep unacquainted or aggressive/protective dogs secured indoors.
Ensure your dog is up to date on vaccinations.
What are your service locations?
We currently serve numerous towns and municipalities within Bergen and Passaic Counties, as well as specific areas of Essex County.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
If we miss any spots in your yard, please inform us, and we'll return to pick up what we missed!
Are you insured?
Yes we are! We are insured through Pet Sitters Associates.
How will you access my yard / property?
Please ensure easy access to your yard/property on your service day by unlocking gates and doors. We also send text reminders on service days.
How do you prevent cross contamination and spread of disease?
We follow strict sanitary procedures, disinfecting tools and equipment before and after service. Our team wears protective shoe covers and gloves.
Why can't I just leave the poop? Wouldn't it just decompose?
Dog waste takes approximately 2 months to decompose and can pose health and environmental risks.
Leaving dog poop in your yard attracts vermin, pests, and can contaminate waterways via runoff.
It's unsightly and can create messes indoors when tracked inside.
Landscapers and lawn care personnel also prefer clean yards to avoid spreading waste.
Timely removal is essential to prevent larger issues from arising.
